Welcome to the Team Brandy Walker!

Brandy has loved planning special events ever since organizing her first tea party for her favorite dolls at age five.  After graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Studio Art & Interior Design, Brandy worked for an architecture firm in her hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia before deciding to pursue a career as an event planner in Washington, DC.   While working as an event manager planning national conferences for government agencies Brandy earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation as well as graduated from the Event Management Certificate Program at The George Washington University.  Brandy’s love for special events led her to a position planning fundraising and corporate events as well as large public festivals at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo where she gained valuable experience working with many types of vendors and executing a variety of events.  Brandy’s amazing attention to detail and calm presence in any situation has benefited her clients and aided her ability to plan flawless events. Brandy enjoys handling all of the little details so every bride and groom can focus on each other and have a wonderful wedding experience.

Here Comes the Bride

The flower girl is typically the last person down the aisle before the bride's big entrance.  Traditionally the flower girl carries a basket of flower petals along the aisle as she enters.  If you are looking for something a little different to announce the bride's entrance, here are a few ideas for your flower girl or ring bearer.

Pomanders are precious balls of flowers that the flower girl can carry.  Many churches won't allow a flower girl to drop petals so this is a great alternative.

Your ring bearers can carry a sign or banner announcing your arrival- a great way to add your personal touch to your big day!

Happy Planning!
