Splash had the privilege of attending a tasting at Caribbean Caterers in Rockville, MD. Gillian de Souza, owner, greeted us at the door and personally seated us at one of the beautifully decorated tables along with four bridal couples. They served us three appetizers: Coconut Shrimp, Grilled Chicken Kabob and a warm Pumpkin Soup Shooter. All three left us wanting more! We were then invited to an amazing array of delectable entrée offerings at the buffet; Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast, Jerk Chicken, Grilled Salmon Fillet, Rosemary Roasted Leg of Lamb, Herbed Cream Potatoes, Pigeon Peas and Rice, Macaroni Pie, Grilled Vegetables and Coco Bread with Roasted Red Pepper Butter. Gillian made sure everyone knew that the Jerk Chicken could have more or less seasoning depending on their wedding guests’ palette.
Gillian and her staff couldn’t have been more gracious and welcoming and the bridal couples were standing in line with their contracts in hand, at the end of the evening.
